• Abuja’s playground for the rich and influential

Ranked as one of the best golf courses in Africa, members of IBB International Gulf and Country Club enjoy exclusive access to a superbly maintained standard 18 hole, par 72 golf course, and other facilities. Even more important, the Club has since become a veritable venue for high-wire business and political networking in Nigeria’s capital city of Abuja

Exclusivity – With this being one of the key components that make members-only clubs enticing, the opportunity to network and mingle amongst the bourgeois and upper echelon of the white collars is one aspect that intensifies the allure of private club membership. While some members-only clubs provide a place for people with different interests and passions in life to mingle, there are more niche-based members-only clubs that exclusively cater to people with specific interests. With reference to that, membership at the IBB International Golf and Country Club, Abuja named after the former military president – Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida, is mostly geared towards lovers of the game of golf while providing an avenue to play and dine with Nigeria’s power players as well as a veritable platform for mingling, relaxing and networking with different economic elites. This Golf club also serves as a great place to meet with private guests and potential prominent clients.

After successfully going through this process and being admitted into the club, an induction would happen after which golf classes can begin. In these classes, the new inductees would be taught everything about the game of golf by professionals. They would also receive golf lessons until they become confident enough to play on their own or with other members.
